DS100 Dual-monitor Desk Stand – Like It
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is exactly what I was looking for to reduce the clutter on my desktop and open up the space I desperately needed. The stand was idiot simple to assemble and I had it configured with two screens installed in less than 10 minutes. I will say that this stand is a bit on the spendy side but from past experience I know these things last forever!
Brilliant Low Cost Stand

In searching for a dual-monitor stand to enhance ergonomics and simplicity for various GUI’s used to operate tools, I came across the DS100. It’s size and stability are well suited for a variety of applications. I have bought a total of six stands thus far and plot to buy more.
DS100 Dual-monitor Review
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have been using the stand for a month and I have to say that I am very satisfied. If you have the need for dual monitors but you don’t have a lot of desk space to work with then this stand is well worth the price. I currently have (2) 22in monitors set up on this stand and it works perfectly. A clean install with the cable management set up that came with the stand. The two attachments to the back of the monitors can be installed to angle upwards or downwards depending on your needs. There is also some height adjustment available. Very simple to place together and a fantastic space saver.
Fantastic; I’ve owned 2 of these for over 3 years
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought two of these in 2005 and like them. They are sturdy, look fantastic, and reduce the desk space consumed by “monitor feet” on my desk.
I’ve had various 17″, 19″, 24″, and 20″ monitors on these stands. I have used multiple Samsung, ViewSonic, Gateway, and HP monitors with these stands–they all work, out of the box. (Apple monitors require a $30 adapter.)
All screws are included; the brackets are heavy gauge metal. Huge friendly knobs make adding and removing a monitor from the bracket very simple (see the pictures I’ve uploaded).
If your monitor has 75 mm or 100 mm hole spacing, these will work–a simple adapting bracket is included, and it’s very sturdy.
I’ve used this stand to hold all landscape, all portrait, and a mix of landscape & portrait displays. It works fantastic. It’s possible to balance two very different weight monitors by sliding where the monitors sit relative to the base–for about 15 months, I used a 24″ + 17″ on each stand, with the 17″ in portrait mode.
Today I am running 4 x 20″ in portrait mode to compliment a 30″ middle screen. This is fantastic–the stands keep the cables organized, and only 3 monitor feet are eating desktop space in a span of 80″ across my desk. The monitors are sort of “floating” and there’s plenty of room on the desk for papers, phones, etc.
As another reviewer mentioned, the monitor brackets can only be adjusted in one plane (tilt or swivel). Which plane this is depends on how you orient the bracket that you attach to the monitor. For me, I always choose tilt because I want the two vertical of the two adjacent displays to be exactly lined up, so swivel is useless. After a lot of fiddling with this, I have found I don’t really tilt the monitors either, I run them pretty close to perpendicular to the desk. When monitors were smaller (17″), I used to tilt screens, but with today’s larger screens, I am not tilting them as much, even on my free standing screens.
But, if you do find yourself needing more degrees of freedom, Ergotron sells replacement brackets with a number of options. The individual DS parts can be bought from a number of vendors and mixed-and-matched to make new configurations.
When I bought these stands in 2005, I paid a lot more money for them than Amazon wants now. The organization and tidiness from the stands is well worth the price. Ergotron makes a fantastic product.
(P.S. I’ve uploaded 2 pictures of my stands to the ‘Customer images’ because it’s so hard to find excellent pictures of these on the web.)
Very sturdy, excellent looking stand

I’ve been using this stand to hold 2, 20.1″ wide screen Dell monitors for about 3 years now. It is very strong and does a fantastic job of keeping the monitors held in exactly the right place. No gradual sliding or tilting. The only negative is that the base is so large.
Ergotron is a fantastic company but if I had it to do over again I might go with an arm that mounts to my desk just so I could gain the extra surface area. Delight in!
Well made stand, but limited adjustability.
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I found this stand to be well-made and I had no concerns about its strength in holding my monitors. But, it has limited options for adjusting monitor positions. Just a bit of tilt. For my case, with one monitor set up portrait and the other horizontal, I could not align the monitors.
Brilliant Space Saver!

This product is well built and simple to assemble. It easily supports my two 24″ Wide Screen monitors and saves valuable desk space, having the footprint of a single monitor.
Screen height is about average for most standard monitor stands. At it’s highest position the center of the screen is about 13″ from the desktop. That’s a bit low for me but I just used a standard monitor raiser and it works just fine, and gives me even more desk space.
The mounting plate is designed for the larger 100mm brackets on flat panel screens but they include adapters so you can use this stand for monitors that have the smaller 75mm mount.
Cable management is also a breeze, there are two cable clasps built into the unit, one for each screen and there are more than enough cable ties included, even some Velcro ones.
Also included: All the tools necessary for assembly and adjustment; Thumbscrews designed to replace your original monitor screws but I opted to keep the original screws so I needed to use a screwdriver.
I’m recommending this product to all my friends with dual screen setups.
Fantastic
